The fires in Australia were devastating to see. I mean, Kaelen, I we live in California. We have a lot of fires here, but to know the environmental impact and this will change the course of

the world for generations to come. All these animals that have been their lives and their environment have been compromised.

And it's so easy when it's not in your neighborhood to think, oh, it doesn't apply to me. It doesn't apply to me.

And that's something that I think Baya teaches us is that every little thing you do does make a difference.

Have you been super environmentally conscious in your time? Have you been like stressed about it at all?

No, I obviously think of the environment, but I go to the extent of recycling my water bottles and my cans.

And that's what I've realized is how out of date my quote unquote recycling really is.

And I use the reusable shopping bags at the grocery store. And I think I'm doing something for our environment.

And that's it. And yes, that's doing something very small. But there's so much more we can do that doesn't over complicate our lives.

In fact, but Baya teaches us is it simplifies our lives. So I think that we can do a make a big change in our world. It's just hard.

And sometimes it's just the simple fact of implementing it.

Yeah. Now I only started using recyclable shopping bags because when you live in California, they start charging you for the other bags and the look of shame that you get when you don't bring your own bags.

And I was like, okay, fine. I guess I'm going to bring my own bags.

So you started recycling out of peer pressure. Yes.
