Before we went to Joe and Tony in Vilnius, I covered the latest updates from Ukraine.

Hours before President Slensky met world leaders in Lithuania, Russia launched a wave of kamikaze drone attacks on Kiev and other cities.

It's the second attack on the capital in as many days, but the Ukrainian Air Force reported it had shot down 11,

the 15 Iranian-made Shahid drones overnight, as air-raid sirens blasted over Kiev and across Ukraine for several hours.

Downstreamed from Kiev, in the city of Jekassi, two people were sent to hospital with burns after the drone strikes.

And in the south, bombing by Russian forces caused multiple fires across Mikolayev.

Mikolayev's regional defense command wrote on Telegram, yesterday on July 11th, at 1.02pm, the enemy launched artillery fire on the town of Ochokov in the Ochokov community.

As a result, residential buildings were damaged, there was a fire in an outbuilding, the fire was quickly tamed and there were no injuries.

As well as shedding and drone strikes across the country, another Russian general has reportedly been killed, this time, again reportedly by British Stormshade missile.

Russia's Ministry of Defense has not commented on the alleged death of Lieutenant General Oleg Sokov,
