Summary

We've got topic after topic on this episode starting with a US Congressman running for Governor being attacked by a man with a knife who jumped on stage in front of a crowd being released hours later.  It's no wonder nobody is afraid of the law.    Why are officials in Johnson County, KS going over the top out of their way to convince everyone the elections there are secure?  Seems too defensive.    Chiefs camp opens just as the vote YES campaign for a Constitutional Amendment in Kansas releases an ad with star kicker Harrison Butker telling everyone, "Let Kansans Decide."  Amen.    Former Jayhawk Andrew Wiggins has regret for taking the Covid jab and he's not holding back with his comments, SEC Media Days had some interesting questions from reporters and we share your ideas for great hot dogs in KC.

We've got a lot going on in the world to talk about on this episode and we'll get right to it with the

story out of New York where Congressman Lee Zeldon, who is running for governor in the state of New York,

was attacked on a stage in Parent to New New York, by an allegedly drunk man named

0:40.5

David Jacobonus, who was wielding some sort of blade and or knife when he got to the

stage, got a hold of Zeldon, started to reach toward Zeldon with the hand that had the blade,

0:53.0

and Zeldon was able to grab his arm and hold him off for just a

0:56.4

split second until a couple of other people on stage were able to grab the man, take him to the

1:00.8

ground, and tie up his hands before authorities came in and arrested him. Zeldon at this point would

1:08.3

continue his speech on the stage and predict that the man would be released

1:11.8

later in the day. The entire speech and the entire event at a VFW in Parentin, New York, was talking about bail and New York being soft on crime.

1:22.6

Lee Zeldon is a Republican. He's running for governor. He's got almost no chance of winning because Republicans don't win governor in the state of New York.

1:30.3

If you carved out maybe the island of Manhattan and ran the rest of the state, you might be able to win as a Republican in New York.

1:38.2

But not with all the people that live on that island and vote 80 percent Democrat isn't going to happen.

1:43.7

So Zeldon is at the VFW Hall. He gets

1:47.8

basically attacked on stage by a guy with a knife talking about bail and being tougher on crime

1:56.0

around the state of New York. The man as he approaches Zeldon says, hollers at him, you're done.

2:01.9

And it's hard to tell whether he's saying you're done with this speech. I'm going to knock

2:05.1

you off the stage. You're going to quit right now. Whether he was really trying to kill him.
