When it comes to keeping promises, God is a lot better than we are. In fact, on Friday, we celebrated a promise God finally delivered on. It was a promise he made back in the Garden of Eden. We explored that in the series, Zachariah's hymn. Here's Nancy to pick up on that series and tell us more.

I'm sure that your life is very busy right now, probably a lot going on in your home,

but I am trusting that in the midst of it all, you are taking time to stop, to pause,

And we're trying to help you do that this week and this past week and the week ahead on Revive Our Hearts by meditating on one of the great hymns of Scripture found in Luke

Hope that you're reading along with us, meditating on it, perhaps memorizing it.

It's a hymn, we call it, that was spoken by Zachariah, the priest in Luke 1, verse 67 through 79.

He spoke it at the eight-day birthing party of his son, John, who would be John the Baptist,

who would grow up to be the forerunner of Christ, the Messiah.

Six months later, Jesus would be born in Bethlehem.

So that's why we're airing this series at this time of year, because there's so much in this

passage that helps us understand why Christ was born, why he came to earth. And we're looking
