So this series, Zeal for God's House has featured three different voices so far in the month of

October, going back to the beginning where Tyler Miller launched us out with a Genesis to Revelation

treatise on how the story of the Bible is about God building a dwelling place among his people

to be with them forever and ever.

And then David Platt comes in and goes, okay, Genesis to Revelation sounds good.

I'll do the same thing.

And he goes from Genesis to Revelation and double clicks on some of the realities that got hit.

And then last Sunday, how good was it to have Pastor Brad Jones from Passion City in the building talking about Psalm 84?

I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than serve or be in the tents of the

wicked. And what we saw last week is sort of this shift from, okay, we've got this grand theological

story of God dwelling with his people and pursuing it. He hasn't changed the plan.

The whole pursuit of the plan

did not shift for him when mankind sinned and rebelled. For him, he initiates a story of redemption

that you and I are invited into. But now we're shifting from grand theological picture

to individual our moment as Auburn Community Church right here, right now in 2025.

And this is where my voice will get more involved.

I got to preach a version of this sermon last Sunday in Birmingham, just to warm it up,

make sure it was ready for you guys.

I love that Birmingham was always our guinea pigs.

It's like, hey, we should try something, see if it works.

Let's try it on Birmingham.
