I'm so honored to be here and really love this church. I've had the privilege of preaching a few

different times over the last several years. And Miles and Courtney and Gage Shelby, a bunch of people on the

team. Trevor is a long, long dear friend to me, like a younger brother to me, grew up in our student

ministry. but I could

name so many different people. Cheryl and David Bell are our family right over there,

and we're just so honored to be here today, and I love what God is doing. It is incredible,

and just to get a glimpse of it over the years is phenomenal. I was talking to Miles.

What a, that guy is amazing. I love him so much. And we were talking this summer and it's like I would love to have you

back preaching. And I would love for you to come on October 19th. I'm like, done. That sounds awesome.

Let's make it work in the schedule. And he called back a week later. He's like, hey, good news, bad news. Good news.

I still want you on October 19th. It's like bad news. David Platt's preaching October 12th,

the week before you. I'm like, okay, good to know. Is that because David was intimidated

to follow me, you know, maybe? Well, I'll just put that out there for everybody. And then, then this week, as I've been, like, hanging around Auburn, I've been talking to people and they're like, hey, did you hear David's message last week? And in the flesh, it felt like a little bit more like a good luck, bro. You know, like, I'm nervous.

Like, I don't know if you're nervous, but I'm nervous for you.

And, you know, to listen to that message in him, for him to cover all of the Bible.

I'm like, what do you want me to talk about?

He went from Genesis to Revelation, like, we digging into Song of Solomon today?

Like, where are we going? Miles and the team asked me to preach on Psalm 84.

And we were singing a lot of the lyrics that come out of that Psalm.

And I actually really love the way this is landing because both with Tyler's message and David's,

this view right of what God is doing throughout all of history and what God has done

throughout all the story of scripture and and your mind is blown and see how it all fits
