And that's what he did with his recent video, so he just posted a video a couple days ago about helping 1,000 blind people get eye surgery and see again.

And this video works hearing 1,000 people's blinds.

Most of us see the world like this, but here's the thing, 200 million people see the world like this, but I just made it one less.

They can't see, but we have all the technology to fix it.

Yep, half of all the blinds in the world is people who need a 10 minute surgery.

So Mr. Beast was arranging for people to get site restoring cataract surgery, and he filmed the patient's reactions to seeing clearly again.

And he collaborated with a nonprofit organization called See International, and they conducted 1,000 surgeries around the world over a three week period for this video.

And according to the nonprofit, my vision dot org cataract surgery costs an average of $3,500 per eye.

Now in addition to helping 1,000 people see again, he also gave away various prizes throughout the video.

So there were brief cases filled with $10,000 that he gave to people.

One person got a Tesla, another person got a $50,000 check to put towards a college fund.

So that was also sprinkled throughout the video, as well as the gift of sight.

And in the beginning, this video received overwhelming positivity in a very emotional response.

I mean, this thing was watched over 59 million times within the first three days, okay?

But then all of a sudden, there was a turn.

And political commentator and Twitch streamer Hassan Piker reacted to this video in a live stream.

And he said it filled him with rage.

And he goes, it is so extremely frustrating that it is up to one YouTube guy to decide to make content out of it
