in a very big rainstorm outside here in Bath. So today I'm talking to Meg La Torre about creating

video for book marketing and YouTube for authors. But we also discuss Meg's experience in the publishing industry

and multiple streams of income. Meg has some income streams that even I don't, and I have

so many. So I learned about some new ones, which was great. So that's coming up in the interview.

In publishing news, the whole ACX slash audible situation has bubbled over this week. And they emailed the community apologising for some truly unacceptable wait times. And they basically said that we are once again making new projects submitted to ACX that meet our audio submission requirements available

to listeners within 30 business days and continue to adjust internal processes to make your

projects available for sale even faster. Now they say this and apologised but of course I've had a

book there now over six months in their queue and so I emailed them and quoted from their email. And I have

not heard back yet, but they're well over 30 business days. And they can't tell me when my project

will go through. So very interesting. We've also heard this has been, I've mentioned this before,

there's been this thing going on about returns.

And the letter said, in addition, we've heard from members of the ACX community who are concerned about Audibles' overall return policy.
