Welcome back to another episode of the Set Apart Daughters podcast.

I'm so excited to have you here this week and excited about the community that we're building

together. Before we get into today's topic, I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for you

and how overjoyed I am of the work that the Lord is doing in and through your lives. Did you know

that every day, no matter what you did yesterday

or last week, is a brand new day where you can start fresh again and you can be reminded and receive

his mercies that are brand new every morning. Moving on to today's topic, we will be discussing

about our identities. Knowing your identity is very important.

The culture will try to define you. Your past may try to label you. The enemy will seek to

deceive you, but no one has the authority to give you your name, your identity, except your

father. And he says that your uniqueness is an expression

of his creative genius and is designed to reflect his glory. Have you ever asked the question of

why can't I find fulfillment in myself? Well, my sweet sister, it is because we were created to reflect

the glory of God. And since the main goal in seeking an identity outside of Christ is to bring

glory to ourselves, we will never find lasting fulfillment apart from him. As you may already know,

I am a mom of two little boys, and at times I can get so caught up

and doing what I'm doing with my children, taking care of their needs, that it can feel as though
