And today, I pray that you are staying strong and firm in Christ.

I want to share with you this quote from Ravi Zacharias.

You have to plan it, your devotion to God every day.

And the best time to plan it is before your day begins.

If you don't plan it, your day will plan

you. And so I make a disciplined life of the study of the scriptures reading the word every day.

My sisters, and this is exactly what we're going to be talking about today. You know, in my few years of following Jesus,

I've grown to love more and more the things of God, things like His Word and His presence.

I've discovered over the years that a heart devoted to God is one that seeks to please God

and is careful to discern what she will spend the next few minutes

of her time doing. I get it. There are times when watching Netflix seems more entertaining

or scrolling through your timeline, your Instagram or Facebook is more fun. But what exactly

are you searching for on social media? What are we searching for on social media?

Maybe hope, acceptance, praise, or satisfaction. When I set my heart to be devoted to the resources

instead of the one true source, whom all things live and have their being, I am misplacing my heart's devotion.

And let me share with you a reality that we must remember.
