I'm Carly Wazel and happy early Thanksgiving!

By the time you are listening to this, my family will have already been in town for a few days.

We're doing a bunch of stuff to celebrate my mom's birthday, which was earlier in this week.

And her gift is that we're doing a full family photo shoot, which let's just say it's going to be a vibe.

I now own cream-colored pants that I pray I do not dribble an ice not that latte on the front of them, even though history is about to repeat itself.

And we have some other really fun stuff planned, which should be great. It's just going to be nice to have everyone together.

I'm pretty sure I usually take this week off the podcast, but I did not this year

because I wanted to make sure you all had something to listen to on the plane, the train, the bus, the car, the scooter, or whatever you are taking to meet with family and friends.

Or if you're staying home and taking the day to rest and need something to listen to,

or if you are working today, tonight or tomorrow, on one of the biggest shopping days of the year.

I wish you all a very, very happy holiday.

And be sure to eat an extra helping of stuffing for me because, oh my God, I love stuffing.

And Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese was not a staple in our Thanksgiving growing up and I have inserted it in last year and this year and it's bound to stay.

And cream spinach, also good. Okay, I'm not going to talk about food. I'm not even cooking this year because I have a child. So my own little turkey

takes up too much time for me to make my own turkey, but we are picking up food

from local businesses. We're also getting pies from this incredible pie shop in LA,

Fat and Flower, who makes the best key lime pie. They serve it at this place

found Oyster, this fantastic seafood spot in LA.
