Hello my friends it's time once again for the morning mindset. Are you ready?

It's time for us to get our minds aligned with the truth of God. The reason we get our minds align with the truth of God.

And the reason we get our minds align with the truth of God every day is because we need it every day.

Isn't that true?

We need to reset our minds to thinking the way that God thinks about ourselves, about people, about the world,

about the situations that we face.

We are digging into Romans Chapter 7, and I believe this is one of the most important passages in the New

Testament for us to understand because the section that we are in is where the

Apostle Paul is explaining to us how this battle against sin takes place and what it looks

like on a very deep, soulish level.

So we're going to pick up in verse 17, read the passage and then we'll come back and talk about it a little bit.

Roman 7, verse 17 says,

So now, it is no longer I who do it but sin that dwells within me.

Now the it he's referring to is some kind of sinful action.

He's saying it's no longer, the real redeemed saint of God who does it, but it's

sin that dwells in me. Now how can he be so sure about that? Well because he says, I

don't really want to do these things.

My desire, the heart's desire that God has given me

is not to do such things.

And yet, these actions still seem to be coming out of me.

And he goes on in verse 18, he says,

for I know that nothing good dwells in me,
