Today, we are exploring the term sexual self.

We all have a sexual self, and even though this may be a radical notion for some,

and yet others will say, duh, of course.

But your sexual self is an unfolding aspect of who you are woven into the fabric of your being.

So let's start on the bottom level of this topic.

What is identity and how would it relate to a wife's sense of her sexual self? Or in other words,

how does your sexual self fit into the whole of who you are as a woman?

I think a lot of women just compartmentalize their sexual selves as a completely different entity that has nothing to do with who they truly are. that I'm a wife, I'm a mother, I'm

all these, you know, I have a list of all these characteristics, but when I think of myself,

I don't necessarily think of myself as sexual. And I'm not speaking for me. I do think of myself

that way, but I hear that kind of thing from a lot of women that it's like a completely

separate thing. Yeah, I feel like our identity is made up of all these various aspects of ourselves.

So one aspect does not define me. For instance, being a mom is not everything about me. It's a very

important part of me, but it's not everything about me. And

there are just things, you know, the professional me, there's the mom me, there's the wife me, there's

the, I don't know, the humorous me, although actually humorous me shows up all over the place.

But, you know, there's all these kinds of aspects and expressions of ourselves. And I think

our sexuality is one expression of ourselves or one aspect of ourselves. And hopefully, when you're
