Have you ever noticed the more peace you find, the more it seems to bother people,

0:18.3

the quieter you become, the more it makes people uncomfortable,

0:22.1

almost as if your calm is a mirror for their chaos. I've learned that when you start protecting

0:27.4

your peace, people who were once comfortable with your availability start calling it

0:31.6

distant or you're being disconnected. But here's the truth. Your peace will offend people who are at war with themselves.

0:39.9

Now, I know that is a bold statement, but it's the God's honest truth. How prepared are you to

0:44.6

handle your peace and how it's going to land on those around you? Are you going to defend it?

0:49.6

Are you going to dictate whether others let you have peace in your life or not? And what is your

0:53.5

source of peace? Is it a daily massage or is it the source that kind of surpasses all understanding? Today's

1:01.5

episode dives into how to seek peace and how to press through with blinders, with kindness still

1:07.6

in your heart if there are those in your life who are trying to sabotage it.

1:16.2

interesting kill switch that seems to happen. I'd like to think that after half a lifetime of

1:26.3

working, climbing, achieving, parenting,

1:28.9

loss of hormoning, we tap out. And there's kind of a realignment that takes place. And it leaves

1:34.5

those around us a bit dumbfounded. You hear words like reinvention and transformation thrown

1:39.6

around. And yeah, those are legitimate descriptors of what's happening. There's more to that.

1:44.1

We'll talk about that a little bit later.

1:45.9

But before all of that, there's more of a subtle shift that arises.

1:50.7

Sometimes peace doesn't look like a candlelit morning.

1:54.6

It can look like disconnection.
