Shopify: Start your $1/month trial at Shopify.com/trent In this episode, I sit down with award-winning singer and songwriter Stephen McWhirter to talk about redemption, faith, and the story behind his powerful new book, Radically Restored: How Knowing Jesus Heals Our Brokenness. You might know Stephen as the writer behind the song Come Jesus Come, a song that has reached over 100 million people and was recently honored with a GMA Dove Award through the incredible voices of CeCe Winans and Shirley Caesar. But his story goes far deeper than music. Stephen opens up about his journey from being a preacher’s kid, to falling into addiction and becoming a meth addict, to ultimately finding redemption and purpose as a worship leader. This conversation isn’t about pretending life is perfect. It’s about what happens when your life falls apart and God still meets you right there. Stephen’s message is simple but powerful: if God can restore his life, then nobody is too far gone. No mistake, no failure, no broken season is bigger than the grace that can transform your life. This is a real conversation about brokenness, healing, and what it truly means to be radically restored. If you’ve ever felt like your past disqualifies you, this episode is going to remind you that your story isn’t over.

Was it, you know, just you always knew it. was it spoke over your life? Let's talk about that.
