coming up on this episode of the Roundtable. There are going to be core challenges to this stuff,

and they're going to refine their approach, I think, further as they go. But the other thing,

of course, that this initiative has going for it is that it freaks out all the right people.

I mean, Libs stay losing their mind over this for all kinds of, to me, really frivolous and unsurious reasons.

Oh, these are young people.

These are kids that work in tech or something, something, something.

And they've talked for a while as if Elon has been like appointed king of the American

government.

Like this is some sort of completely unimaginable power grab on the part of an unelected

official.

But to me, it just seems like he's being put in exactly the position that he's best

served in.

The other thing everybody keeps saying that I don't agree with is that at some point

there's bound to be a terrible clash between Trump and Elon because Trump is always kicking his allies

to the curb and disagreeing with them, especially if they're big personalities.

And I could well be wrong about this, but I've never felt like that was actually a likely thing.

Trump himself has mellowed out a lot and Elon has a kind of different and complimentary style and angle

to what he wants to do. Plus, he's the biggest mega fan in public life right now. The
