Summary

It's a terrible feeling when those close to you don't support you. For anyone following an untraditional path, it's common. Embarking on out-of-the-box careers or creative pursuits seems to ruffle other people's feathers. To complicate matters more, it's usually those closest to us who don't want us to get hurt by steering off trail.
