Hey there, my friends.

When you think of the act of prayer, do you feel like you know what to pray?

Well, in Matthew chapter 6, Jesus himself instructed his disciples and therefore us on how to pray,

we're going to be looking at the kingdom

focus of our prayers today on the morning mindset as we endeavor to get our minds aligned with the

truth of God's word for this day. We are in installment number 10 of our kingdom series looking

through the Gospel of Matthew for all the

instances where the kingdom is mentioned. Now, before we get rolling in today's episode, I want

Matthew 6, I invite you to pray with me. Lord Jesus very simply, we just ask you to teach us today

and enable us to apply what we learn. It's in your name we pray. Amen. Okay, Matthew 6, 9 through thirteen jesus says this to his disciples pray then like this our father in heaven hallow would be your name your kingdom come your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors, and lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil. All right, friends, when there's so much in this short little prayer that Jesus gives as a model

for us to follow.

We could spend episodes doing every phrase and understanding exactly what it means, but what

I want us to focus on is right near the beginning.
