Welcome to betrayal trauma recovery. This is Anne. I have my dear friend Sarah McDougall on

0:06.3

episode today and she's going to be on subsequent episodes. So make sure that you stay tuned for all

0:12.2

the episodes that we have together. Before we get to Sarah, I know this year has been hard for all of us.

0:18.4

It has been a just slog. Not only with the abuse but also obviously the coronavirus and all

0:27.2

the other trials and tribulations that all of us are going through. I want you to know that my

0:32.0

heart is with you because we understand what it's like to be a woman in this situation. We created

0:40.4

betrayal trauma recovery group just for you. When I was going through this there was nothing available

0:46.8

like this. Also I didn't understand it was abuse. So we created this to be exactly what I would have

0:53.2

needed back in the day and what our entire team of betrayal trauma recovery would have wanted

0:58.4

back in the day. So betrayal trauma recovery group has multiple sessions a day in every single time

1:03.4

zone. We do recommend that the first time you join you join on a laptop or a desktop but after

1:08.4

that you can join anywhere on any device on a phone on a tablet. Once you get the hang of it,

1:14.2

it's pretty easy to join on any type of device. All of the team here struggled with child care. We

1:19.9

struggled with finding a therapist or a coach who really really got it. Myself I went through several

1:25.4

therapists who had tried to explain to them what was going on and I had to kind of educate them

1:30.6

and even then they didn't really believe me. Everyone on our team a betrayal trauma recovery has had

1:36.1

that experience. I'm sure you've had that experience which is why you're here. The cool thing about

1:40.8

our coaches is they are specially trained. They get it immediately plus they've been through it so

1:45.4

they also get it immediately. They can help you make your way to safety and peace which is what

1:50.0

you deserve. To see our session schedule go to btr.org and we'd love to see you in a session today.

1:56.5

Thank you so much to those of you who have given the podcast a five star review. Here's one that

2:01.0

we received on Apple podcasts. Peace and safety. Peace and safety, peace and safety. These are
