I always encourage moms is remember that Instagram social media there there is a very small

percentage of people who are being as authentic as they can but even even the most authentic person

you're only sharing 15 seconds or 30 seconds of your 24-hour day so definitely I think a lot of

moms go into this comparison mode but just remind yourself that even the most authentic people on

social media are going through things that you know nothing about. Their supply is their supply

and for lack of a better word all our babies are individual so a mom that's producing 25

ounces for her baby but her baby is eating 30 ounces is technically under supply.

Hey Aubrey welcome to Shee. Hey I'm so excited to be here today. So happy to have you this is a

topic I've wanted to dive into for my own purposes my own reasons of wanting to learn and also

because I think it's something so many women are curious about or feel like they aren't you know

very well equipped in and so I think this is going to be really really good so I love if we can

just start with a little bit about who you are and what you do can you just give us a quick overview

of that yeah so I'm a mom of two I have a four-year-old and seven-year-old and they are kind of the

reason why I got into lactation my nursing career kind of started more in neonatal intensive care

that was like my bread and butter for a very long time went on a mission trip saw how really

powerful impactful skin-to-skin care was and breastfeeding was and my interest was already

peaked in those topics but that just sort of sealed the deal for me and so it was kind of after

that that I dabbled in it here and there and then you know like any well thought out plan I

figured a pandemic and being postpartum was a good time to get that certification

so that was like very interesting and a journey in and of itself while I was breastfeeding
