Summary

Fifteen QFC and Safeway stores in Seattle could soon be under new management thanks to a proposed merger between Safeway parent company Albertsons and Kroger, which owns QFC.

The announcement sparked plenty of questions about what would happen to the stores, if any would close, and what changes customers could see.

Seattle Times business reporter Paul Roberts is here to get into the details with us.
