So, Dr. Fisher is a board certified reproductive endocrinologist as well as a board certified obstetrician and

gynecologist, medical director of Spring Fertility, New York City.

She went to Mount Sinai School of Medicine, followed by residency at Yale, New Haven Hospital with a

fellowship at Columbia, New York Presbyterian Hospital, like wow and you

joined Spring Fertility in 2022 after being in practice for years in the area.

I'm so excited to have this conversation to you, especially because your ethos is really that patients deserve exceptional clinical care with honesty and transparency.

And that's something that I feel like most women have no clue how to access and so I'm so thankful that we can get you on here to get some

information to shine some light on spring fertility I'm so excited so thank you.

It's fantastic to meet you. I want to just dig right in my first question, which I think is always my personal question and I think really important to everybody is how many months should you try to conceive naturally before seeing a doctor and I'll tell you why that's so important to me because the first time I tried I went to my doctor thinking that he would do an ultrasound see how many eggs I had make sure I was healthy give me advice and he said come back if you're not pregnant in a year.

Yeah, which made me feel very unseen now. I mean it's really hard because the diagnosis of

infertility is if you were less than 35 and you've had 12 opportunities for a conception, you have

infertility.

And so that means that 85% of people are pregnant at that point if you're less than 35.
