Did you know that other people don't have to get it?

It feels like so obvious, right?

And yet the energy we will pour into helping someone get it does not have an

ROI, my friends. The return on investment isn't there. You do not need a group chat consensus

to approve of what it is that you are doing. And I mean this in big and small ways.

You can never know. We can never know what's inside of a person. Even when we love them deeply,

know them deeply. Ask them. We never know the full picture. No one knows what's inside of anybody

but us. Nobody knows. And yes,

we can believe in people and know them intimately and encourage them and be there. But we don't

know ever what is at the heart of somebody, what their desires are, what their dreams are,

what really matters to them. You know, it's really easy to use our logic to make decisions,

right? We can do a quick upside downside, right? We can go, should I move here? Should I go for that?

Should I invest in this? And it's very easy to logically list. Okay, this is the upside. This is

the downside. Let me do a quick, a quick check here. Let me just balance this out and see if it's

worth it. But our intuition is different. I'll do an upside downside if I'm really on the fence and maybe

something doesn't feel too pressing. I'll just kind of employ my brain to help make a decision.

But when it comes to the stuff that matters, that only, that voice

that only you can hear, that nudge that only you can feel, you don't need anybody else to

get it. So where have I seen this play out in lots of cases? Let me share a couple. I know that

some people, they are very, very clear that where they're born is not where they're meant to live.

When I was 18, I was out of England. I love England so much. But America feels like the right place for me, at least right now.
