| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the Enjoying the Journey broadcast with Scott Pauley. |
| 0:12.0 | For the next few moments, we look to God's Word to discover simple Bible principles that will help us to live the daily Christian life and to enjoy the journey. |
| 0:29.8 | As many of you know, I spend a great deal of time with young people. I love teenagers and trying to encourage young men and women to find God's best for their life. One of the things |
| 0:34.9 | that has troubled me so much and frankly has led me to do this |
| 0:39.4 | study with you this week on what God has to say about alcohol is seeing so many young people |
| 0:44.4 | getting off course on this matter. Did you know that one fifth of eighth graders report having |
| 0:50.4 | been drunk at least once? They tell me that one out of two eighth graders has at |

| 1:29.8 | of alcohol. We've looked at the destruction of it and a description of it. We look most recently |
| 1:35.6 | at the distraction that alcohol brings, but I want to talk to you on this final day together |
| 1:40.1 | about the decision you have to make about alcohol. You see, every person is going to have to decide for themselves. |
| 1:47.3 | There's an amazing verse in 1 Corinthians chapter 10, verse 31. |
| 1:51.6 | It says, whether therefore you eat or drink or whatsoever you do, |
| 1:56.2 | do all to the glory of God. |
| 1:59.9 | And I say to you that everything in our life, if you're truly a Christian, should be done to glorify Jesus Christ. |
| 2:07.5 | And there's some things you can't drink and glorify God. |
