Hi, you beautiful people. This is Emily Schram, your Meathead Hippie podcast host. This is the hippie one. So if you have not listened to it yet, I am launching two podcasts at a time. I've had some fun double episodes starting a few weeks ago. Just kind of hit me. Meathead, hit me. Do one of each. So my meathead

0:22.6

this week is about overtraining and about your adrenal system and about overdoing stress and just

0:29.3

overdoing life in general and how to navigate that and how to cut ourselves some slack and learn about

0:36.5

our body, get curious about our body, what's going on

0:38.9

with that overtraining, and how to program with adrenal dysfunction or any dysrhythmia of your

0:46.4

adrenals. So I went through three signs your adrenals need some love and three ways to help

0:53.8

when your adrenals need some love and three ways to help when your adrenals need some love so really

0:57.1

beautiful all in one place like let's take care of all the pieces of it so i've done some components

1:03.3

of this before but very happy about this because it's so complimentary to this episode the hippie

1:10.1

episode which all of this is truly

1:13.6

because it's my own struggle. You know that, right? This is literally the evolution of self,

1:20.6

and I have documented that evolution for over 10 years. And that's so crazy to think about, but also so beautiful because

1:30.1

it's, it's, that's just what it is. And so when I think about the psychological component of

1:37.0

outside of feeling the pressure to do more, the pressure to push ourselves, the pressure to go a little

1:43.9

harder and how that also ties in with our ability to, pressure to do more, the pressure to push ourselves, the pressure to go a little harder,

1:45.2

and how that also ties in with our ability to handle stress and what the adrenal system is,

1:51.5

I think so much about how hard I am on myself. And it could be how we came into the world,

1:59.4

it could be our astrology, it could be our past lives. For you, it could be how we came into the world, it could be our astrology, it could be our past lives.

2:03.3

For you, it could be how you were raised. You know, there's so many variations of why we are

2:07.9

hard on ourselves, but the fact is that most of us are. And it's this word of critique that has been

2:16.8

plaguing me and sharing its essence with me in ways that

2:22.8

are very clear that I have to keep an eye on it consciously or it will ruin my life.
