I have a question for you.

Who is your hero?

Who do you look up to? As we all know we need to

steer our kids to positive role models. Zigg is going to give us several good ideas

of how to raise our kids so that they are positive role models for others. Let's listen to Zig.

The next age is the age of inspiration. That's from ages 13 and up.

During the teenage period, the child is inspired by great ideas of one kind or another and he must have

heroes. This is one of the things that bothers me today. Our heroes are not of the kind we really need today. We are not

pointing our kids at the right kinds of heroes. In too many cases they simply are public figures and in many cases those

public figures are not the kind of people we really are happy for our kids to

emulate. We need to point them to heroes. The books are one way

you can do it. And of course we have many great people who simply are not in the news all

of the time. We need to aim our kids at the right kind of heroes.

The role that play in our children's lives is absolutely critically important.
