0:05.6	The governor of New Mexico actually issued a press release stating that Young Guns 3, dead or alive, will be filmed in New Mexico, just like Guns 1 and 2.

0:28.0	this is huge news. I had both of these movies pretty much memorized by the time I was 12 years old,
0:33.3	okay? I had the Bon Jovi soundtrack, how me and my friends even played Young Guns at recess back in elementary school.
0:40.3	And I don't think I'm alone in this.
0:42.3	I've heard from a lot of people throughout the years, roughly around my same age, who have similar memories.
0:48.3	I am a firm believer that the Young Guns franchise absolutely defined an entire new generation of Western fans.
0:56.7	And I fully expect Young Guns 3 not only to meet but to exceed expectations.
1:02.7	Now, that said, you may be wondering how this is possible,
1:06.5	especially considering that Emilio Estevez is currently in his early 60s,
1:11.7	and the real-life Billy the kid was shot dead when he was around 21 years of age. Also didn't Chavez and Roodleball,
1:17.8	you know, the characters portrayed by Ludheim Phillips and Christian Slater, didn't they both
1:22.9	die in guns too? I mean, how can they make a part 3 when all the main characters are already dead?
1:29.4	Well, the answer clearly is Brushy Bill Roberts. We're introduced to Mr. Roberts at the very
1:34.5	beginning of Young Guns 2 when he's standing there next to his mule waiting on that lawyer.
1:39.0	He narrates the entire movie, and we see him again at the very end. And yes, Brushy Bill Roberts, real name
1:45.6	Oliver Roberts, was indeed a real person. He came forward in the late 1940s claiming to be Billy
1:51.8	the kid, and even met with the governor of New Mexico in 1950, trying to obtain the pardon that
1:57.8	was promised to Billy way back in 1879.
2:06.2	And by the way, Brushy Bill playing a important role in Young Guns 3, that's not just my opinion.
