Summary

0:22.9	City Marshal Dallas-Duda Meyer did. The former Texas Ranger had been across the street eating
0:28.1	lunch when the shots rang out. As everyone else was ducking for cover, Dallas bolted towards the
0:33.2	fight, six-shooter in both hands. He opened fire as he was running, and seconds later, four
0:39.3	men lay dead in the dirt. Dallas-Sto-Meyer had only been marshal for three days, and less than a
0:45.0	week later, he would kill yet again. To quote historian Leon Metz, Western history is barely noted
0:51.4	Studemeier's passing or his accomplishments. But for two tumultuous
0:55.7	years in the early 1880s, he served as nearly the only law north of the Rio Grande and west of
1:01.9	Fort Worth. Make no mistake about it, Dallas Studemeier was an extremely capable lawman,
1:07.7	at least at first. The only problem was he seemed to have an affliction. An affliction that, left
1:13.6	untreated, caused him to turn on the very town that he was hired to protect. Who was Dallas
