We start in Southeast in France where several children and a man are in a critical condition

in hospital following a knife attack in the town of Ansi.

Eleanor Vincent was in the area where the attack took place.

As I was approaching that end of the lake, I saw and heard multiple police sirens and a

life flight helicopter about to land.

Police were fast on the scene and they were blocking access to the area.

It was a moment of shock. It was a moment of horror.

I knew something horrible had happened.

People around me were just stunned.

They were just standing there. It was just a beautiful, beautiful summer day.

And it's just shocking.
