Today's talk comes from Pastor Louis Gaglio.

And I'm on my way to planning this talk a few weeks ago,

and in the middle of it, that talk, which I'm not giving today,

I had a little change up, and I guess all of us get change ups in our stories.

And the Lord just sort of tapped on my heart as I was working on this other message for today.

And He said, you know, it's interesting how easy this for you is talking to me.

To make the world revolve around you, and this is all of our condition.

Obviously, it's a human condition.

We want to turn the world into a story about us.

And so I sometimes have a tendency to do that.

And he said, you know, Advent can be like that for people.

They can make Advent all about them.

And I was like, what are you saying?

And he's just encouraging me as I'm sensing him, you know, nudging my heart in the middle of all this.

He's saying, well, Advent has always been about people waiting for me.

And I'm like, yes, that's Advent.

It's Christmas.

We're all waiting for you.

We're in expectation that God is going to come through.
