Hello and welcome to episode two of the Theater Girl podcast. Theater Girl podcast is a podcast for all current, former, aspiring,

recovering theater girls.

And I just knew after episode one that I couldn't continue any further without discussing

wicked.

I knew episode two had to be Wicked.

And so with me, I have one of my best friends, but also amazing New York City pastry

chef and only person in the world that I know that has seen Wicked more times than me.

And I was really confused and disappointed to realize when I counted all of my playbills the other day.

I've only seen it 10 times, but Dan's seen it 14 times.

Yeah, I posted on my story last night and of course my mom calls me this morning and like very

Teresa Judeyce was like, you seen wicked? 13 times! No, I really, though. Yeah, but, you know, I keep coming back. And, you know, just to say, my dad has seen Bruce Pringsteen 60 times. Okay. Over 60. It's not that weird because people were also complaining on my stories too, being like, oh my God, you're going again. It's like, why is it weird? Right. It's just like a casual Tuesday night. Like we're seeing a show. Right. I want to know from your perspective because I don't think you are a Wizard of Oz kid. What is bringing you back to the Gershwin Theater 14 times? Yeah, it's good question.

Yeah, you know, I was not a Wizard of Oz kid. Wicked was actually the third show that I've seen.

Wait, me too. Yeah, and it was, but the first show I saw as an adult. So when I was interning in the city for, you know, my, my cake internship in 2011,

the sky, like, took me on a date. And it was like really exciting. I, like, got ready and he picked me up for my internship. And he was like, yeah, so what do you want to do? And I was like, do you want to, like, try the Wicked Lottery? And this was- And that was the first time you ever saw I've never seen it before.
