I'm so excited to have you. It's a long time coming. We just had your bestie on. You're still close with Juliana. Yes, yes. We talk very often. And that was a great podcast. I listened to it when I was driving the other day. Thank you. She was such a doll. I loved her. So let's go back to Grant's season. and it feels like forever ago at this point.

But how did you get on the show

But how did you get on the show and did you know Grant was the bachelor when you applied?

So it's so funny. I was actually on my way to a date when I got approached to be on the show.

And it was so, it was so, so last minute. He was announced, but I like had two weeks, like maybe three weeks to

prepare myself and go. It was an extremely last minute reach out. I think I was probably one of

the last girls to get asked because I had like no time to prepare. So right before filming started,

I like got asked. So what happened on the date? Did you tell the guy?

Oh, no. I'm going to go on The Bachelor.

Absolutely not. No. It's not his business. And did you watch Grant on Jen's season? So did you have any heads up as to who he was? Yes, I did watch Jen Season. I actually wasn't going to, and then I decided to watch it. I saw him on it. he stood out.

Were you a fan of the franchise?

Like, were there other men

you were interested in in as well?

Like, if you watched Jen's season, there was maybe another standout character from that season. Yeah, so this is a really weird story. So I watched The Bachelor growing up for years and then I stopped and I took a couple of years off. I watched Joey's season and then they announced the new Bachelorette and I remember

I was really sick one day. I had watched exhaust all the shows on TV and I was like, you know what, I guess I'm going to turn The Bachelorette on and this was like, I think a couple of episodes had already came out at this point. I remember watching. I'm like laying on my deathbed. And I remember Sam coming out of the limo and I was like, oh, I like, perfect

up. I was like, that guy's hot. But I would never think, you know, that I would be in this position that I am. But he did stand out to me on the show. I mean, I think he stood out for everybody for multiple times. Yeah. And to Jen, did you want Sam to be the bachelor or you were just like open to grant because whoever it was. Yeah, I was just open. I was like getting out of like a

situation ship at that point yeah I was just open I was
