I find that the beginning is the hardest part of doing these podcasts. I am not a professional

radio type. I don't know how to segue into let's just get to it. Let's get to it. Today,

this very day, Wednesday, April 12th, I think the Biden administration announced new EPA

standards that in essence will force compel the entire auto industry to start making electric

vehicles. I think 67% of vehicles manufactured in nine years will be electrical electric EVs.

And it hit me this morning that Democrats run around calling any, you know, a local elected

officials who curate books at local school libraries, authoritarian, but when a gigantic,

powerful centralized government dictates what one of our biggest industries must produce

and hundreds and millions of people must buy. They are just fine with it. When it meets

almost the textbook definition of fascistic economic, you know, central planning by in

almost every way. Now, I'm not saying that we live in an economic fascist state. I'm just

saying that the democratic agenda sounds like they wish that we lived in one and want that

to happen. Am I overstating this, Molly? Well, I didn't think so. And then you seem to be

understating at the end. This move on electric vehicles does seem to be a big issue. And I'd

like you to kind of unpack a little bit more about why you think it meets the definition of fascism.

Well, in a fascistic nation, now, you know, there are many components, one of the components

sort of a strong man leader. But I would say that that's not always the case. We have a, you

could have a demagogue who wraps all economic policy in in the veneer of patriotism, which we

constantly are doing now. I'm not saying everyone's guilty of that. Some extent, but Joe Biden has

called, you know, the green energy revolution, a tragic thing to do. And, you know, and he goes to
