Unfortunately, most of us have the experience of feeling like a broken woman, a broken teenager, or even a broken little girl. There’s hurt and pain behind our smiles and the valiant effort we put up everyday to keep showing up and keep fighting. Jewel is an award-winning, Grammy nominated singer, song writer and mental health advocate. She started a metaverse called, Innerworld, for mental health awareness, and also started the Inspiring Children Foundation. Her story of being a homeless teenager running from an abusive home is jaw dropping and painful to imagine.
