I'm your host, Greg Sargent. The other day during a panel discussion on CNN, prominent never-Trump lawyer George Conway did something you rarely see on the air.

He dressed down a Republican commentator for lying his ass off about Donald Trump.

And then, right on the air, he asked why CNN was paying this Republican to spread lies with

such abandon.

This is not something you're supposed to do in Washington, so we think this deserves some real

discussion.

This episode, along with another one we'll discuss here, illustrates a deep problem

with the way the DC media handles pro-Trump propaganda, something that's more glaring than ever

as Republicans spew nonstop lies about the stunning guilty verdict that a jury handed Trump
