And she's like mama skin is white and I was like yes, I am white because daddy skin is brown and I said well

Daddy's a white man. Okay. He might now my husband does have Native American heritage

But it's nothing he would ever claim because he doesn't party. He's proud of it

But he it would feel disingenuous like he feels that and I appreciate that. So he is a darker skin color than me

He's like more olive tone and if he goes out in the sun at all instant brown lasts for a very long time

So she's not wrong. It's just we want to teach her the correct terms

So then she goes daddy skin is white now here's where it gets weird because of me. It's my fault
