I'm from a small town in Lancashire and growing up, I just always wanted to move away.

But then my geography teacher took us rambling.

So I'm there walking through nature and it begins explaining our home to us.

Why it's so special?

He showed me the trails my grandfather took and also his grandfather before him.

I'd teach taught geography, but really, he was teaching me who I was.

Thinking about teaching, to get advice on your application funding and courses,

search, get into teaching events.

I think we put these birth expectations on women that you're supposed to have all these feelings

and all these moments and like be overwhelmed with love.

And for me, I was like, holy fuck, I've just been hit by a train wreck,

but I guess I never really had expectations on what it should be.
