Hello, my friends, and welcome to another Robcast.

This is episode 188, and it's called you listening to you, because it's really, really,

really important for you to learn to listen to you.

It's crucial for all of us, actually, that you learn to listen to you.

So here's what I mean.

Years ago, I was sitting in a meeting, and this meeting was a meeting of the people who

ran the place.

We started a church, and then we had hired people to come around us to run the church,

and then those people began to hire other people, and pretty soon there were departments,

and then those departments had teams, and those teams had volunteers, and there were divisions

and committees, and you know what I'm talking about.

It was lots and lots and lots of people.

And so once a week, the people who were the heads of all of these different areas would

come together for a meeting.

So it's probably eight people who would meet.

One day, I'm sitting in one of these meetings, and somebody in the meeting says, you know,

we do this meeting each week, but then I have to go back to my area and tell the key people

in my department what happened in this meeting, because what we talk about in this meeting

of the people who are the heads of the department affects what we do the rest of the week.

And so I have to go back after this meeting and translate and interpret everything that

happened in this meeting and the implications of it to the people who are in my department

who report to me.
