| 0:19.8 | I had been living on my own for a few months and I was starting to feel the burden of having my parents pay for everything. |

| 0:31.9 | That sounds like a luxury. |
| 0:33.6 | And absolutely, it was a luxury. |
| 0:35.8 | It was a blessing. |
| 0:36.8 | And I am not going to shy away or not call it what it is. |
| 0:41.2 | But also, I need to recognize that at that time, it was a burden to me because I felt almost guilty |
| 0:48.4 | that I was getting all these things paid for in so many of my other college student athletes, so many of my other football teammates. |
| 0:55.9 | They just didn't have the same opportunities I had. |
| 0:58.5 | And so I had two options. |
| 1:00.4 | Either I could cut myself off from my parents and live the life that all of my other football teammates lived |
| 1:07.3 | or I could create my own financial freedom. |
| 1:11.1 | I could provide for myself while in college so that I could still afford the same things that I was before. |
| 1:17.8 | I could still take my friends out to dinner. |
| 1:19.6 | I could still go grocery shopping whenever I wanted to and make sure that there was always food on the table. |
| 1:25.9 | But in order to create that financial freedom and to separate the metaphorical and billical cord from my parents, |
