Welcome to Wood Talk. Now here are three guys who like to take big pieces of wood and make them smaller. Mark, Shannon, and Matt.

0:13.5

All right, it's show number 596, and on today's show, we're sort of recapping some of our favorite things or most notable things from the

0:20.9

past year because it's that time of year and we're going to answer a whole bunch of questions

0:24.8

that came from you folks over on Patreon.

0:27.6

So yeah, all that and more coming up.

0:29.7

But first we want to let you know that Wood Talk is proudly sponsored by Woodcraft.

0:33.0

Woodcraft is the leading authority in woodworking, making, and creating.

0:36.7

They have the tools, supplies, expertise, and hands-on classes to inspire creativity. At every level, you could learn more at woodcraft.com. And don't forget, use that coupon code, WT2025 for 10% off. And, of course, some exclusions apply. Refer to a couple shows ago if you want to read all those exclusions or learn or listen to them because I set them all.

0:56.2

It did. It was painful. It was a lot. I don't think that coupon works in store. I tried it.

1:04.5

I think, but it's supposed to. Wow. They said they would. I didn't try it well hard. We just put it that way.

1:10.1

You really got to push hard, Shannon.

1:28.5

Like, don't accept the first no. Doesn't always mean no. Listen, it's awkward enough walking into Woodcraft and seeing my face staring back at me when I walk in the door. Well, then you should be getting a 15% discount just because of two. Well, bonus discount. It's really made my Worldcraft shopping like embarrassing and awkward now.

1:30.5

Now they have like, now it's not just the cool caricatures. It's our actual photographs now. It's a real and current picture. And it's like on the curb, like I pull up and park and there it is. And then you walk in the front door. Like I'm waiting waiting for Woodcraft to move to life-size cutouts, like fatheads. And I don't know. That's going to be a problem for me. Well, it'll be a real problem when they make it your parking spot. And they've got your cutout out out there just for you. The Shannon Rogers parking spot. Our local stores really should accommodate us that way. I think that's fair. Yeah. Maybe in a... Yes, that's what I need. I think we negotiate that into the next contract that our local stores have to make a parking spot. I've never been to mine, so I mean, that's good. I was thinking like, red carpets get rolled out. Yeah. If I have a parking spot, I will go to that store for sure.

2:21.0

Not true. I have been there. Okay. I will not go.

2:26.4

Yeah. Yeah. That. Did you know our show is also sponsored by the generous contributions of people like you?

2:27.0

I did.

2:29.6
