When was the last time you got up off your couch and actually went out to see a movie?

I mean, it's fun to go see things in person, but at the end of a long day, Netflix is streaming, and my couch is just two feet away.

But what happens when everyone stays home?

When the movie theaters and art houses and performance spaces sit empty.

Yesterday I actually photographed my 99th closed theater.

And I get emails from people saying,

my grandmother told me she used to go here with my grandfather.

That may be, but I've got the book.

And I've always heard stories about it, but I've never seen me inside, so thank you.
