I want to speak to you today about the power of accepting slips.

Now, what do we mean by slips?

Slips are these things that happen to all of us, matter how committed dedicated focused all in we

are on something. But slips they feel dramatic, don't they?

There's an expression in Al-Anon, or AA, which I learned through Al-Anon, because my father died of addiction.

I'd go to Al-Anon because my father died of addiction. I'd go to Al-An meetings.

There's an expression. If you don't want to slip, don't go where it's slippery.

It's nice and obvious, right? And so of course this is referencing referencing if you don't want to have a

drink maybe don't go to a bar if you don't want to you know pick up a

pick up a drink drug whatever it may be then maybe don't hang out with the

people who do that all day long.

Slips happen, but we can also put ourselves in an environment where they are less likely

And assuming that you're doing that, right, because I'm guessing if there's a slip, that means

that you're going off course on something, which means you are on course for something.

You have a goal, a desire, an outcome that you want in mind.

That's wonderful, that's credible. That brings through your life force, your energy.

It's gorgeous to be working towards something.

Happiness is progress.

But we cannot condemn the slips that we have.
