Did you hear about the restaurant on the moon?

Great food, but no atmosphere.

The other day, I heard our oldest son share a corny joke to our grandson.

They were discussing whether or not to get a haircut and my son replied, no, I think

we should get them all cut.

He slowly turned to me, smiled and said, wow, I just told my first corny dad joke.

I smiled too.

It was a special moment.

I had trained him well in the way he should go, at least in how to tell corny dad jokes.

Well, the theme of this meditation from Proverbs chapter 22 is teaching, training really,

training others, training others not in sharing corny jokes, but in following God's will

and going his way.

We will be together for about 15 minutes, so begin your time of meditation by settling

into a time of obedience, a place to reflect on the wisdom of God and what he shared with

you, a moment to remain humble before God, spirit and son.
