Today's talk comes from Pastor Ben Stewart.

Well, we are in the midst of a series we're calling anchors, the foundational pillars of our faith.

And last week we covered our first pillar, the glory of God.

That God is the Fons divantadas, the divine fountainhead from which all that is good

and beautiful and true proceeds, that all that we marvel at is an expression of his glory emanating from the glorious one, including you and me.

That we are meant to enjoy and celebrate all that God is made as it draws us to enjoy and

celebrate Him the one we've been made for. And I preached that message and then my wife

and I got in the car last week and we drove to watch

Yo-Yo Ma in concert at the Kennedy Center.

And there was a moment where in the midst of his, I mean, other worldly,

transportive playing of the cello,

that they dropped the lights and they began

to show images on a screen from the James Webb telescope of deep space.

And he was playing the song that the title roughly translates mirrors into mirrors.

It's a contemplation of infinity written by Arvo Part, an Estonian

composer who said quite frankly that his inspiration was Jesus Christ and And he wanted to, he took inspiration from Gregorian chant,

from spiritual music to write a masterpiece of minimalist art

that is being played by Yo-Yo Ma on the cello as these images are going by,
