Summary

Today's episode is a flashback to my conversation with James Clear, the author of Atomic Habits. James taught me so much about effectively creating habits and why it's so important to start "voting" for what you want, not what someone else wants for you. 1:06.9

and you changed your response, but you weren't really influencing it in a meaningful way.

1:10.8

So it starts with self-awareness.

1:13.0

Then the next step, which you already mentioned, is kind of we can call it different things,

1:16.4

call it deliver practice, call it routine, or, you know, whatever, but you're consciously doing

1:21.0

the behavior. So you're putting an effort to practice it.
