Hello my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset.

Carrie Green here. It is time for you and me to get our minds aligned with the

truth of God and I tell you this is a task I find just necessary for me every single day.

I tend to slip back into bad habits. I tend to slip back into autopilot mode or as my wife said when we first got married into floating mode

where I would just float from one circumstance to another and not give much thought to my actions and not be very intentional and so on and so

on that's my bent. What is yours? What is your tendency if you don't take control of your own mind and make it go where you want to go.

And I'm not saying you need to take control of your mind by just doing a bunch of

positive affirmations, you know, saying, I'm great, I'm wonderful, I can do it.

You know, that's not what I'm saying at all.

As Christians, we are responsible to align our minds with God's truth, with what God says is reality in the universe.

And then and only then are we able to live in a way that brings glory to him and good to our lives and the lives of those

around us. That's what the morning mindsets here to help us do. Now we're looking at the

book of Romans chapter 5 verse number 18 and the apostle

Paul is just wrapping up a section where he's explaining the difference between

Adam who is the first human being to sin, and therefore brought sin into the world,

and death as a result of that sin, came about for all of us, and then Jesus on the other side,

who is what Paul refers to as the second man,

the one who brought justification and redemption

and reconciliation to humanity. and between these two things that Adam accomplished and Jesus accomplished and the results of what Jesus has done.

And in verse 18 he's focusing on results. He says, consequently, so that means as a result of this just as one

trespass that's Adam's sin resulted in condemnation for all people.

So also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.
