Summary
Galatians 2: 20-21 - I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness[c] were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.

| 0:08.0 | We are right in the middle of Galatians chapter 2 versus 21. |
| 0:13.4 | We are trying to understand |
| 0:15.7 | the spiritual truth about ourselves |
| 0:19.2 | that God himself says is true. |
| 0:21.7 | Because when we understand this truth, it makes a difference in our lives. |
| 0:26.0 | You know there are things we know like the law of gravity for example truths that impact our life day to day that we don't give much thought about. |
| 0:36.4 | But then there are other truths like the ones we're speaking about today in Galatians |
| 0:41.8 | 2 20 and 21 that if we will take the time to really ingrain them in our way of thinking, |
| 0:51.2 | they can truly transform and impact the way that we live every single day of our lives. |
| 0:57.0 | And the truth that we're talking about is the truth that when Jesus died on the cross over 2,000 years ago, |
| 1:05.0 | we, the old sinful us, died with him. |
| 1:11.0 | And so let's think about it practically, okay? Let's think about what effect that has in us day today. |
| 1:17.3 | You see, the truth is that we are now dead to the power of sin and we are now alive to God through what Jesus |
| 1:27.8 | did on the cross. So when an opportunity to send presents itself to us, let's just imagine we're going |
| 1:36.8 | through a regular day and some sort of situation happens that's a little |
| 1:41.2 | irritating to us or that would typically flare up |
| 1:44.2 | anger in us. I mean that's a good example. It's something we can all relate to. |
| 1:48.3 | What should our response to that be? |
| 1:53.6 | Well, in the past, we would often just out of habit |
| 1:56.8 | and out of instinct flare up in anger. |
| 1:59.7 | And we would say something or do something |
