Hey friends Carrie Green here. Good to have you back for the morning

mindset. This is our opportunity to get our minds aligned with the truth of

God's work.

I wonder, friends, if you've ever asked yourself the question

as you've been listening to the morning night set,

why would a 56 year old guy, that's me, day after day, invest his time in recording short little

teachings from the scriptures? Have you ever considered maybe I really believe

this stuff? Maybe I believe it's worth investing my time in my life in the

encouragement of God's people through his truth because I believe it is truth.

Today we're going to be looking at John Chapter 17,

verses 14 through 16.

This is part of a prayer that Jesus prayed when he was here on earth. So think

about that. The son of God speaking to God the Father. What kind of conversation would that be? Well it would be full of

truth, it'd be full of majestic revelation, things we need to know, and we have the

privilege of hearing it for ourselves. Now today we're going to be

looking at something that Jesus says to the Father about his followers, so

that's about his original disciples, It's also true of us.

That really is gonna blow your mind.

Because it's one of those things that we hear

and our minds kind of grasp the concept

and then we kind of

take it in a figurative sense rather than in a literal sense and I don't believe
