On this episode, we have the news with me, Brittany, and Sam, and we have a special note

from Clint.

And then we also have Tom Wheeler, who is a former chairman of the FCC, who was actually

the chairman of the FCC when net neutrality rules were first put in place.

Net neutrality is one of the really crummy names I ever assigned to something because it's

not really explicit.

What we tried to do was to change the name, to say that it's the open internet.

We also have a conversation with Shanei Burke, who's a disability activist.

Across the entire little people and community of dwarfism, the terminology that is most

detested is the word mixed.

We consider it a slur.

And before we get in, I just talk about a refrain I've heard a lot this year, definitely

heard it a lot before.

The election is, I heard people say, like, you know, I just don't really care about politics,

so they're just not into politics.

Or politics isn't really their thing.

And when I think about what power is, power is the ability to influence the decision-making

process.

And politics is the decision-making process.

Your life is already political.

Their decisions that are happening every day around you, about you that implicate you,
