0:00.0	The Christian life cannot be reduced to a man-made list of things to do and not to do.
0:13.0	However, when God gives a specific list in Scripture, we must take careful note of His priorities.
0:20.0	Today we examined the Lord's to-do list found in 1st Thessalonians chapter 5.
0:26.0	Let's join Scott Pauline now as we uncover divine instructions for the last days.
0:36.2	From the very beginning of time, the devil has done everything he could to divide man from God-ordained authority.
0:44.3	For example, when did he come after Eve?
0:47.3	He came after Eve when Adam was not around.
0:50.3	He sought to drive a wedge between Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Immediately then
0:56.4	he goes after their children and he seeks to bring some division between a cane and Adam and Eve.
1:03.8	And do you see the disruption that the devil loves to bring? And of course ultimately he's trying to
1:09.6	divide us from the ultimate authority, which is God.
1:13.5	Did you know that the devil does that not only in families? He does it in church families?
1:18.4	We've come in our list of 1st Thessalonians chapter 5, this to-do list that God has given to
1:23.5	his children in light of the soon return of Jesus Christ to a couple of very interesting
1:27.8	verses.
1:28.9	First, Ascelonians chapter 5, verse 12 says, and we beseech you, brethren.
1:32.8	Now, those are strong words.
1:34.5	Those are words that are imploring words.
1:37.8	They're heart words, lots of emotion.
1:40.8	Literally, we beg you, brethren, to know them which labor among you and are over you in the lord
1:48.0	and admonish you and to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake and be at peace
1:55.4	among yourselves you remember that we began this this list from the Lord with a fight.
